Requirements:

Unlicensed Stylists: Passion for hairstyling and dedication to continuous improvement. Ability to learn and perform braids and natural hair services without the use of chemical treatments or hot tools.

Licensed Stylists: Must hold a valid cosmetology license with no restrictions. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals. Willingness to contribute to our salon's vibrant and supportive team culture.
Month 01
Foundation Building and Theory
12 - Week Course Layout
Week 1-2: Orientation | Introduction | Sanitation | Client Interaction

Introduce the new stylist to the salon environment, staff, and policies.

Provide an overview of the salon's services, products, and clientele.

Tour the salon and explain the layout, equipment, and tools.

Week 3-4: Basic Theory and Techniques

Teach consultation skills, including how to assess client needs and preferences.

Role-play client interactions and consultations to build confidence.

Cover the fundamentals of hairstyling theory, including hair anatomy, texture, and structure.

Introduce basic cutting techniques, such as blunt cuts, layers, and texturizing.

Teach shampooing, conditioning, and scalp treatments.

Demonstrate basic styling techniques like blow-drying and flat ironing.
