Below we've taken the time to give our clients a few tips on how to care for their different styles at home

Caring for virgin extensions

Virgin Straight Hair

~ Extensions should be shampooed and condition every 1-2 weeks or once hair becomes oily.

~ Apply a water base leave in conditioner after shampooing extensions. Allow to air dry.

~ Once dry apply dime size amount of heat protector throughout hair and style.

Virgin Curly Hair

~ Co-wash when needed. Curly hair loves moisture. Apply conditioner to hair combing from ends to root.

~ Rinse, and scrunch hair to define curls.

~ Apply a anti-frizz alcohol free serum to hair

~ DO NOT comb through extensions dry. This may cause breakage.

Virgin Closures

- Lace Closures/Frontals care should be cared for just as your extensions how ever lace is very delicate.

~ Scratching in lace closures can cause premature balding in the lace. The friction of scratching in your lace can also cause your hair to break off under the lace.

Once extensions are removed, they should be shampooed, conditioned, air dried, and stored

Caring for Braid Extensions

1. Hair should be tied down in a loose pony with scarf covering edges or fully covered in a bonnet

(putting hair in high bun at night is highly not recommended, this causes tension and pulling on edges)

2. With caring for you braids you want to be sure to keep your scalp hydrated. We recommend that you use our "Rejuvenating Scalp Serum" 2 - 3 days a week or as needed. It helps relieve itch dry scalp while giving you hair moisture and a extra boost of nutrition it needs for healthy hair growth.

3. The average time a braid styles should be kept is 4 - 6 weeks. If you're wanting your braids to last a little longer we recommend a touch up around your edges at the 4 - 5 week mark if your wanting your style to last 8 weeks. However going over 4 - 5 weeks without a touch up can cause breakage around your edges due to braid extensions twisting at the root from new growth coming in. Braid touch-ups are not offered after 5 weeks.
